Fleeting moments

I was in the mood to make up a couple of Christmas wreath's this week,
I haven't played around with fresh flowers for a while.
I gifted one to a lady,i presented it to her in a box and as she took it out she treated it as a most precious possession, and the reason was it wasn't artificial it was real fresh flowers,Xmas bush and Geraldton wax.I showed a picture I had taken of it to some ladies and the same response, they were shocked it was real flowers.
I started to ponder, why was that?
why are real flowers more precious than everlasting ones?
because they are so fleeting, the wreath would only last a couple of days, you have to appreciate the beauty in that short window of time, then it is gone.
much like life,we need to appreciate the fleeting moments and  see the beauty,to try and capture memories while we have the opportunities,to seize life.
I had another dream, where I was flying,I went higher and higher until I met up with a secret astronaut,we both went to uncharted territory,he was delighted, I was hoping I could breathe,I wanted to turn around it was so inky black, but we do need to push through easy and known to the new things for us,and seize the moment and delight in the journey of breaking through.
